it's about time

...for an update. not to mention a new background. lol. so....life has been very crazy lately. the play was...two weekends ago, i think. then UFO! that was fun. what a day. a small taste of what it would be like to tour with a band.... definitely cool. but i think i would get tired of it.... or rather, i would get stressed out from lack of alone time and freak out. anyways, that day was....indescribable. [not to quote chris tomlin....] pics from the concert. then, solo & ensemble not 9 hours after i left school. D= tiff had it earlier. but that was fun. my duet w/ seth was.....lol. interesting. but we're going to state. haha. no clue. i thought the judging was very inconsistent throughout the day....i saw some amazing things that went to state, and unfortunately, a few things i thought were going for sure got bad scores. =[ and then, something like my duet gets to state...wtf. it was weird. anyways..... i spent sunday in my pjs at home. =] and now, i'm two thirds through my week. tomorrow: short classes, stations of the cross, then i get to see torie!!! XD i am pumped. i miss that girl.... so, yeah. wow... i meant to write about the concert, and all of this came out. haha. =]]]

Wow.... It's been a while! Life has been quite something lately. It's that time of year when things just drag on and on, yet you're busy all the time. Basketball playoffs! =DDD The girls won the game against Algoma today...That was amazing!!! Haha. I never watch the games...But I didn't have anyone to talk to....So I watched this one. It was super intense. lol... Anyways, I'm pumped, because that's at least one more pep band! =D So....what else is new? I don't know.... Life is kind of a transition now, in a few ways... Our dog, Bandy, died....We now have puppy; Juno. She's adorable! [photos] My music is transforming. I've been following several music blogs, legally downloading a lot of indie stuff..... Lol, like 400 songs. I'm listening to a playlist of 47 now; mostly new stuff. Love it.... Then, a bit more personally, my friends are changing. a space odyssey

wow....so, i forgot to write about this last time. for film and theatre, i had to watch a move from AFI's 100 Best American Films list. so, i chose 2001: A Space Odyssey, thinking it would be a cool sci-fi movie. wow. it was quite interesting. very abstract....it starts out with these chimps...then there's a completely different story [i'm not really sure what that second part has to do with anything yet] and then it goes 18 months ahead to this jupiter mission. and that's when it makes the most sense. the fourth part is really strange. and then...it's over. i guess, if i understood it better, it would probably be a lot more meaningful. so, afterwards, i looked it up and watched a little flash video explaining it. i guess it kind of makes sense. anyways, weird movie. very interesting. i guess. lol.

weekend

what a weekend.... well, lately, i've been spending my internet time downloading all sorts of music. crazy. i've found several really neat songs, and a lot of songs i don't care for. it's all good. i've also discovered some oldies that are really cool. anyways, this weekend....i guess it wasn't too bad, but friday was school [lipsyncs!] and then a rehearsal for church at 5...fun fun. saturday, i did nothing until the dance. [which was lame, but whatever.] photos. and then up early today to do sound at church! lol. =| so then.....lunch and home. i'm really tired though.....yawn. anyways, i <3 music.

...is fun! lol. we played pretty poorly....but we had class this morning, plus a sectional after school, so chops were worn out....=[ but yeah, it was fun. =D lol and of course, afterwards, i ended up hanging out with our new clique. hahaha. and, of course, we ended up getting kicked out of the music department wing..... lol. funny. anyways, pep band is my favorite. yawnnnn. school is really boring lately. except chem.... lol. that class is awesome. it's challenging... es bueno. anyways, math is all right. i'm really tired of logarithms though. D= other than that.... intro to business, religion, spanish, band, and film & theatre. i forgot about english, which is good right now, because we are starting the Divine Comedy. and watching a movie. =]]] yay. anyways, enough pointless writing.

=] hi. so, today was pretty sweet. went to GB with cassie. lunch at noodles! yumm! and then we went to the mall. that was fun... i got a sweater and a tank top to go w/ it and some stuff at hot topic. and! we both tried on prom dresses. lol. apparently cassie's looked really bad...i don't know, i didn't see it. mine was really cool in the front, but the back didn't work out.... lol. anyways.... then we got coffee and drove all over. we ended up finding a ton of parks. which is funny, because in the summer, we drove around looking for parks, but we didn't find any. except one that we already knew about. anyways, we found a ton today, but we didn't want to get out of the car. because it is toooooo cold. speaking of which, when is summer coming? brrrr winter is no fun. =[ nice weather makes it much easier to take photos. so, anyways, cassie and i drove for a long time....like and hour and a half. lol. then, we managed to find the highway again and we headed home... anyways, nothing else to say. =]

yay! new playlist time! =]] it's time to merge this wonderful new music i've bought with all the great songs i've forgotten about. so, today was interesting. no school; too cold. i went out for lunch with stacie to perkin's. =] yumm. then we drove to tr, called torie up. so, we get there. and what do we do? go for a walk on the beach. in -30 weather. D= i swear...crazy. it was soooo cold. i took some cool pictures though. then we went back and made tea and played catchphrase! omg. i love that game! so, my time at torie's was mostly fun. =] then home.... and that's about it. i suppose i should probably study for my chem final tomorrow....=[ no me gusta.

so, break is over. =[ it was pretty awesome though. yeah, i'm supposed to write about last night. so....hm. i went into town in the afternoon, started texting jordan. and he couldn't hang out yet. so, i got to drive around manitowoc for a half hour, then get some coffee at Jenn's Java. =] and then I got jordan and we drove some more, ended up going to Two Rivers. yumm Subway. lol. and then...... oh yeah. we went to Wal-Mart. and then back to Jenn's Java. and we played cards with Aaron. =] yeah. well, i have to continue writing a crappy paper about a stupid book about Andrew Lloyd Webber. =/ joy... lol. band tomorrow! i haven't played my trumpet since....Christmas Eve. haha.

so...i was just thinking, i should mention the photos i took of Cassie. they are pretty cool. =] they're online on myphotoalbum. i would upload some here....but it's being dumb. yawn.

D= so, i'm off to bed pretty soon. but for now...hmmmm christmas has been really great so far. =D the camera, some new clothes, a leather jacket!!!, gloves.... this is the best year ever. =] yawnnnn i can't imagine waking up tomorrow and going to grandma [judy]'s to eat.....more food. what a busy week. there were two christmas concerts i teched for....fun stuff. along with that, we had to finish the yearbook cover! so, guess who got to go up to the rafters in Handy Herman in front of the whole school! me!! it was scary. not really. but it wasn't exactly fun being up there in front of everyone. =\ so..... no pep band this week....but there was last week! two in a row! i could only go to one though, because during the second one i was christmas shopping! yay! so, now, most of my gifts have already been given. yup..... hmmm Madrigal Dinner tomorrow! woot! huzzah for herald trumpets! i'm pumped. well, i really hope we don't suck. haha. and i hope the roads are decent, because mike has to drive in from St. Nazian's. twilight

300th post! haha. yup. sooooo....i saw twilight today. that was cool. i really liked the casting. the special effects...not so much. but overall, i think it was good. yeahhhhh. i stayed over at torie's last night...that was fun stuff. =] we watched the office. lol. aaaand we went for a walk on the beach. haha that was ... really cold. but it was fun. then, this morning, i forgot my cell phone there. =[ no me gusta. ...before torie's, i was at school. you see, i had stayed after to set up the pit for the christmas show with tiffany. and then, she had percussion practice [they have a scene in the show, and it is really great. =]] so, anyways, i stayed for practice. i was just going to watch, but then i ended up running a spot light. that was fun. anyways, now that i've gone backwards....soon, i am leaving to go to the symphony. =]]] yayyy. let's see... tomorrow, church...then practice. =P joyy. no. whatever. we will be back stage. maybe we can work out our sound predicament. well, time to get ready!

the nervous game! =)

hi. its cassie, on meg's blog in business class. woo. i really don't like this class it is rather pointless, i would like to take a buiness class but not this one cuz i am learning nothing!!! but i wouldn't rather be in food which was what i was gonna be in but i transfered to this class. anyways. this weekend was fun, i believe meg already talked about that but now i will talk about my experience. yay. well we went to a presentation on business about managment and it looks like it would be really awesome to get into something like that, cuz i do enjoy doing business type things and then if i went into mangment of say music or performing arts i would still get to be around arts and media and do business. or advertising would be awesome, the advertisng presentation sucked like if i would base my decision of my major off of it there would be no way i would do it! but i really dont even know what i wanna do with the rest of my life and i guess i dont even have to make those decisions now but idk. i really just dont know.
ok well this blog was rather pointless but it was better then looking at god know what we were supposed to look up for this class!

drove to chicago....all things go, all things go

yup. chicago this weekend. it was....ok. it started out really great. then, on the second day, it turned into a minor disaster. oh well. the school [Columbia College] was pretty cool. and we stopped in Kenosha to go shopping on the way down. i got to go to the converse outlet store. =D that was pretty sweet! i got two shirts and a lanyard. XD my lanyard collection now contains 5 lanyards. roncalli, ripon, columbia, deviantART, and converse. 6, if you count the mishicot middle school one i have somewhere. anyways. yes. chicago was neato. i would definitely get lost. and i don't think i could drive down there. D= i really like the idea of living in the city though. i am just not sure i could do it. i don't know. this trip was supposed to be my experiment, my test. it was a fail. but there were other contributing factors....soooo....yeah. the school was really neat. butttttt i don't know. i am so lost. i wish i knew what i wanted to study. they seemed to assume that i had that figured out. yes yes, it was an interesting open house. too much to do....too little organization. oh well. soooo after we got home, i got to chill out for a while, then i had to go to the stupid dance to take pictures. D< yeah. i didn't really want to go. and especially after chicago, i was tired. i would have rather slept. but whatev. i went, and i took pictures. i got about 50 good ones. so, yeah. it was ok. so, anyways. school starts again tomorrow. woohooo. nooooo. i'm going to watch tv now. =D
